Having studied at the Newark School of Violin Making, I first gained experience in some of Britain's most respected violin restoration workshops. It's now more than twenty-five years since I started my own workshop, which continues to produce instruments that are played by musicians across the world. My work is inspired by the great tradition of 17th and 18th century Italian violin making. I use design principles and workshop practices from this period to produce instruments for today's musicians.
