For hundreds of years, musicians have appreciated the skill and craftsmanship that goes into a professionally handmade instrument or bow. At Violin Makers Scotland, we believe in maintaining that tradition. We are a group of four makers of violins, violas, and cellos. Our dedication to traditional ideals has developed over many years, beginning with formal training at the finest European violin making schools.

Yet our work is firmly rooted in the present. We make full use of the current knowledge as well as the traditional techniques at our disposal. The result is a unique opportunity for you to select a fine, modern, handmade instrument or bow from a range of contemporary work.
